Island Spray MV does custom airbrush and aerosol art for Martha’s Vineyard and beyond. Everything is hand-painted, from hats, shirts and jackets to large murals and signs.
Founded in 2018 in Oak Bluffs, MA, Island Spray custom paints clothing, canvas, concrete, cars, and nearly any sprayable surface.

Every August Island Spray has a booth at the Martha’s Vineyard Agricultural Society Fair in West Tisbury, four long days of turning out hundreds of custom shirts and hats for locals and visitors. 2025 was their sixth year there.
Realistic aerosol pet portraits are a growing part of the work, each one made to order.
Jonah was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, and has spent his life between the art world and Martha’s Vineyard. He first came to the island in 1989 and moved here full-time in 2017.
For a party or company event, Island Spray MV can set up a live airbrush pop-up on-site and paint custom hats or shirts for your guests, who leave wearing them.
