WVVY-LP began as the island’s pirate station — Free Radio Martha’s Vineyard — and went legit in 2007 under the nonprofit Martha’s Vineyard Community Radio, Inc. Its 100-watt signal reaches Vineyard Haven and the surrounding towns from Tisbury at 96.7 FM; everyone else can tune in right here. Reggae, electro, 80s, world music — it’s whatever the volunteer DJ behind the board loves that night.
