What is Island Spray MV?

Island Spray MV provides custom airbrush and aerosol art to Martha’s Vineyard and beyond. From wearable art (hats, shirts, jackets) to large-scale murals and signs — everything is hand-painted.

Founded in 2018 in Oak Bluffs, MA, Island Spray custom paints clothing, canvas, concrete, cars, and nearly any sprayable surface.

“You're Gonna Need A Bigger Beer” – Offshore Ale (Oak Bluffs)

A mural painted to commemorate the 50th anniversary of JAWS (1975–2025). Located at Offshore Ale in Oak Bluffs.

Martha’s Vineyard Boys & Girls Club Gym Mural

Island Spray’s largest mural to date — a massive wall piece featuring the OB Blazers. This mural transforms the gym into a visual landmark of island community and energy.

Annual Martha’s Vineyard Agricultural Fair

Every August, Island Spray has a booth at the Martha’s Vineyard Agricultural Society Fair in West Tisbury — four days of non-stop action. Island Spray produces hundreds of custom shirts and hats for locals and visitors. 2025 will be the 6th year.

About the Artist — Jonah Miller

Jonah was born in St. Paul, Minnesota, and has spent his life between the art world and Martha’s Vineyard. He first arrived on the island in 1989 and moved full-time in 2017.

  • Started airbrushing while working at Camp Snoopy – Mall of America
  • Graduated from Harvard College (BA in Visual & Environmental Studies)
  • Worked as a designer with Nike, adidas, Reebok, New Balance & multiple skate brands
