Sailboat Racing in Vineyard Haven Harbor: Complete Guide (2026)

Vineyard Haven Harbor hosts organized sailboat racing four days a week during summer. Where to Watch from Shore

Owen Park is the single best spot — just off Main Street, west of the Steamship Authority terminal, it slopes down to the harbor with panoramic views. East Chop (Telegraph Hill) in Oak Bluffs, about two miles from downtown by bike, provides the best elevated view.
